Documents accurately and timely according to Rural Health Clinic and Joint Commission Standards. Completing, updating, and reviewing patient's health summary and clinical information. Reviewing upcoming schedule for all providers. Reviewing all patients for diabetic compliance. Ordering all necessary testing with communication to the patient and the provider. Obtain appropriate documents for all patients and procedures as required. Includes prior authorizations and referrals. Review all required reports for compliance and follow up as needed. Scheduling patient appointments, procedures and tests timely. Assisting the providers as needed for patient care. Communication: provide timely accurate communication to providers, patients, internal and external customers for quality patient care. Completes work list timely. Keeps work area clean. Maintains Rural Health Clinic and Joint Commission compliance, including maintaining required logs. Ability to react to change productivity and handle other essential tasks as assigned by supervisor. Assists all offices with voicemail and answering calls if the medical assistant is busy or away from the desk. Follows the expected Behaviors of Excellence standards.
