Role Purpose:

Create an environment that leads to a positive patient care experience by facilitating problem solving and decision making in specialty departments or complex clinical environments. Assure accuracy for coordinating patient care within the approved operational guidelines and nursing care plans. Demonstrate effective communication / interpersonal skills, both written and oral. Exercise good judgment and serve as a liaison between patients, physicians and all other participants of the health care team

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School or GED plus accredited RN education

  • RN license in practicing state

  • Knowledge of basic laboratory equipment, physician office operations and medical terminology

  • Proficient in various office products and computer programs

  • Required Certification: Emergency Dept – BLS,ACLS; Med – BLS; Med/Surg – BLS; Telemetry – BLS, ACLS; OR/PACU/ENDO – BLS; Cardiology – BLS; Interventional Radiology – BLS,ACLS.

  • Cardiology and EKG experience required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years ambulatory or physician office experience
