This position is in the Department of Earth and Planetary Science. This position is for the Danforth Campus in the School of Arts and Sciences.

Essential Functions

Washington University in St. Louis is seeking applicants for a post-doctoral research position in seismology to analyze seismological data from projects in Antarctica, Patagonia and/or Pacific subduction zones. The focus of the position will be applying various analysis techniques to constrain the three-dimensional seismological structure of the crust and mantle using broadband seismic data.

Required Qualifications

Ph.D. in geophysics or a related area at the time of appointment.

Preferred Qualifications

Interest in the study of subduction zone seismicity.

Salary Range

Base pay commensurate with experience.
