Job Type/Schedule This position is full-time and works approximately 40 hours per week. Department Name/Job Location This position is in the Department of Emergency Medicine. The position is located at Renard Hospital. This position is for the Medical School Campus. Essential Functions POSITION SUMMARY: Position assists research director and investigators as compliance coordinator of numerous research studies simultaneously, responsible for reviewing enrollment documentation, maintaining coordinator compliance folders, tracking and recording all phases of study compliance as required by sponsoring agency. Works closely with WUSM IRB to ensure timely and accurate filing of required documentation and study materials. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Ensures enrollment coordinators are compliant with protocol guidelines and requirements of regulatory agencies; identifies problems and/or inconsistencies and monitors enrollment coordinators progress to include documentation and maintains tracker of non-compliance. 2. Assists with initial compliance/lab training and retraining of enrollment coordinators based on the study protocol. Provides annual compliance check for enrollment coordinators and maintains coordinators compliance folders which includes, licenses, CV and annual certifications. 3. Ensures that the ECRC subject screening logs are setup and closed out in accordance with the sponsors activation date and closeout date of study. Sends sponsor subjects screening logs intermittently as required by protocol. 4. Assists Regulatory coordinators with shipping samples to the sponsor. 5. Maintains the retention of all study records, including shipping to outside storage facility and organization of on-site storage room. 6. Assist principal investigators with updating and maintaining NIH other support pages, NIH biosketches, and facilities/resources pages. Maintains a departmental list of all publications. 7. Performs other duties incidental to the work described herein. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of two years of clinical research experience; a combination of relevant work and education equaling six years may substitute for this requirement. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with regulatory work and some familiarity with clinical concepts and medical terminology. * Working knowledge of computer programs and systems, regulatory requirements, and IRB with communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Salary Range The hiring range for this position is $48,131 - $60,174 annually.
