Advisory Solutions Director
Lumeris is looking for experienced leaders to join our advisory services business and make a significant impact with healthcare organizations of all types in the transfer of risk and migration of fee-for-service business to value-based payments. We are looking for seasoned healthcare advisors who have led large and complex consulting efforts as well as demonstrated ability to scope and support new business development opportunities.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead multi-disciplinary teams of subject matter experts to craft and deliver strategic consulting offerings
Serve as supervisor for other members of consulting team on client engagements
Develop and deliver strategic evaluation engagements for prospects, what Lumeris calls the Volume to Value Roadmap; fosters upsell
Supports sales with subject matter expertise, content, and materials
Strong strategic consulting and change management expertise
Project lead for high-profile client engagements: responsible for deliverables, team coordination, logistics and project timelines
Leverages relationships with industry stakeholders and thought leaders to support sales of technology and consulting solutions
Provides subject-matter expertise in program development and solution packaging
Owns and develops client relationships at the C-Suite level
Provides unique thought leadership in industry, market, and policy landscape
Experience, Qualifications, Education:
BS/BA degree in business, or a health- related field required. A Master's degree in Business Administration or a master’s degree in Health or Hospital Administration is preferred
6 + years of health care strategy, operations, or management experience with either a consulting firm (hospital/healthcare focus req.) and/or with a hospital/healthcare provider.
Project Management experience including creating work plans, budgets, managing budget to actual, and goal setting/benchmarks
Supervisory experience in a matrixed project setting. Ability to coach and mentor staff.
Ability to actively manage and deliver on client expectations around project activities, timelines, deliverables, outcomes, etc.
Ability to provide targeted communication (written and verbal) to internal and external constituents
Proven analytical and process redesign skills (problem solving, quantitative, workflow process, etc.)
Ability to work with a diverse group of professionals and personalities in a team environment
Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook
