Serves as the Coordinator for the Diabetes Education and Nutrition Center, the Women's Heart Center and Tobacco Treatment Services in the HealthStyles Department. Serves as the Diabetes Program Coordinator in the Education Resource Department. The Diabetes Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the DSME Program at all sites. Ensures that the National Standards NSDSME are met and maintained at all times. Responsible for the program designs for these programs including coordination of staffing assignments. Participates in nutrition clinical care of outpatients referred by physicians, those in programs provided by HealthStyles and Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation and clients who self refer to the Women's Heart Center. Assists manager with assuring competency of co-workers in assigned areas through initial orientation, ongoing training and annual assessment. Works with manager to establish procedures that meet operational and regulatory guidelines.QUALIFICATIONS: Because you're committed to excellence, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Company . That's why you'll bring to your role the right set of qualifications: * Bachelors degree in nutrition and dietetics. Registered Dietitian or Registry-eligible with the American Dietetic Association. Licensed Dietitian in the State of Missouri or licensed obtained within the first 90 days of employment. * 1 year working in a clinical healthcare setting as a dietitian.
