SSM Health VP-Administration and Governance in Saint Louis, Missouri
Directs, monitors, and contributes to special projects, which are strategic in nature, highly complex, and involve creation and oversight of multifaceted teams.
Acts as an executive liaison to resolve problems and ensure successful implementation of company initiatives.
Works closely with the CEO and governance paralegal and general counsel for SSM governance activities. Coordinates Board and committee activities.
In collaboration with the Chief Community Health Officer develops and implements the SSM Community Health strategy
Works closely with the strategy, advocacy, operations and mission integration teams and has accountability for SSM health advocacy and government relations.
Organizes, problem solves, raises issues, and integrates initiatives, solutions, and actions.
Conducts research, prepares strategic recommendations and solutions.
Facilitates information flow to the executive team and/or clinical leadership.
Works effectively and maintains positive relationships in a dynamic environment and matrix organization. Ensures HR policies are administered consistently.
Performs other duties as assigned.
- Master's degree or equivalent education and years of experience
- Ten years' experience, with five years' in leadership
Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
