The Oncology Unit at Company Hospital St. Louis, a 28 bed unit dedicated to caring for patients with cancer and hematologic disorders, allows you to practice not only the science of nursing but also the heart of nursing. We care for patients throughout their journey with cancer, from new diagnosis and treatment to palliative care. Nurses become certified in giving chemotherapy after working on the unit for 6 months. We specialize in end-of-life care, providing compassionate care to patients and families during this time of transition. What we offer * Shift Differential Incentive Pay. * BSN Differential Pay for those applicants who have completed a BSN program. * RN to BSN Bridging Program to assist in the pursuit of a Bachelor's degree. * Up to $2,000 annually for Tuition Reimbursement. * RN Loan Forgiveness Program to aide in paying off your student loan debt. * Up to $5,000 per year over a period of 4 years $20,000 cap. Must graduate within the past 12-months of beginning employment with Company to qualify * Career Ladder Program - Eligible after one year of service, RNs can opt into the Career Ladder Program. You can receive up to $5000 for this recognition. The fellowship experience includes: The Oncology Med Surg Fellowship is an 8 week hands on training experience. The fellowship is a two way, open communication process that has the main goal of making our co-workers comfortable with all of the tools that they will need to use on the floor. Position Qualifications * We require a nursing degree from an accredited school. * RN License in the State of Missouri or must obtain within 90 days of your graduation date. * Must have a current Basic Life Support CPR certification through the American Heart Association. New Graduates: You must graduate with your nursing degree prior to the Fellowship/Residency Program start date in order to be considered for this opportunity.
