CVS Health Lead Patient Care Coordinator in Saint Louis, Missouri
*Must reside near St. Louis, MO branch location*This customer service facing position interacts directly with patients, physicians, caregivers, and internal departments to answer questions, solve problems, provide education, and maintain our company’s reputation for high-quality service.The Lead Coordinator will assist with day to day activities of staff members, including but not limited to:Resolving customer complaints, quality review, error correction, and daily staff assignments. Typical working hours for this role is Monday-Friday 11:00 am - 7:30 pm with Sunday/Holiday on call rotationThe primary function of admissions is to provide a seamless onboarding experience for new infusion patients to CVS Specialty and Coram. The LeadCoordinator will help to guide other employees in this process by serving as the subject matter expert. This position requires prior experience with insurance, health care, processing of new referrals, providing customer education, and routine assessment and problem identification. Excellent communication skills for both customer and staff members is a must.
- 6 months - 3 years of related work experience in a high volume call center * Strong verbal communication skills including active listening• Ability to capture necessary information from the patient discussion while multi-tasking and toggling betweennumerous computer applications• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively• Use of empathy and patience when dealing with confused or irate customer
Minimum two years’ experience in customer service and/or healthcare environment.• Minimum one year in Patient Care Coordinator Role• Minimum one year experience working in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook and Word.• Preferred experience working with healthcare insurance and medical terminology
High School or equivalent
