SSM Health Certified Electroneurodiagnostic Tech in Saint Louis, Missouri


We are looking for experienced and certified EEG techs to join our dynamic team at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. If you are an experienced EEG tech with surgery experience we want you to join our team. You will be settin gup patients with EEG leads and monitoring their progress in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. Pediatric Experience is a plus.

PT position - typically 24 hours weekly. Shifts may vary from 7AM to an 8:30AM start time and may be 8, 10 or 12 hours in length. Rotating call shifts are also required.

  • Conducts and assists in ECGs, exercise tolerance, holters, BIOZ's, and Prime ECG procedures. Recognizes cardiac rhythmic abnormalities, especially cardiac or respiratory arrest, notifies appropriate personnel according to well-established procedures, and initiates CPR if necessary.

  • Routinely checks status of EEG software, troubleshooting as necessary, and notifies appropriate service and user personnel when troubleshooting procedures fail.

  • Maintain appropriate logs for statistical and accounting purposes, and perform calculations for required reports.

  • Assist in Quality Assurance monitoring; environmental controls; infection control standards, and equipment selection, operation, application and inventory.

  • Identifies and corrects for artifacts. Edits and forwards results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation.

  • Maintain EEG equipment and supplies.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.


  • Associate's degree

  • Must be have EEG certification


  • One year experience

  • Performs eCog procedures in operating room and reviews data

  • Assists with cortical stimulation

  • Experience with invasive monitoring (grids and strips)
