Position Summary:iOuriField Service Techniciansitravel around the country going into Biomedical departments in hospitals and medical facilities to verify and calibrate their biomedical and general-purpose test equipment. The technician tests and calibrates electronic test equipment and in accordance with established procedures. They do not work on equipment that is used directly on patients and there is no patient interaction. Face to face customer service is a large part of the job.i We are currently looking for aiRegional technician to cover the Northeast US. Candidates who currently live near the Ohio/Pennsylvaniaiborder is preferred.iIn your role as aiField Service Calibration Technician you will be responsible for:iPerforming routine and complex work related to the calibration and repair of biomedical and general-purpose measuring and test equipment (MandTE), in the fields of electrical, electronic, DC-Low Frequency, RF, pressure, temperature, flow, force, mass and other Metrology disciplines.Effectively using computers, software, and automation systems as required in performance of assigned duties.Enhancing quality through regulatory compliance and operating procedures, quality audits, work accuracy, documentation and cGDP practices.Perform work in accordance with established processes and procedures.Ensuring daily work is conducted in accordance with company policies concerning quality, ethics, integrity, and standards of business conduct.Promoting safety of self, fellow employees, customers, and the environment.iOther position details:iTravel will include overnights and weekend travel.i Some trips could last two to three weeks depending on the schedule needs.Technician will be provided a company van and equipment.i Job related expenses are covered by the company.Training will be provided.
