Immigration Program Manager

Job Description:

As an Immigration Program Manager in our Employment Practices Group, you will play a key role in managing Cerner’s U.S. immigration programs, including assisting with the overall strategy, design, and execution of the programs. You will play a vital role in managing the quality, delivery and overall success of these programs while ensuring compliance with various regulatory obligations. Additional responsibilities will include reviewing and finalizing various visa applications, drafting complex immigration applications, researching business and employment-related immigration issues, engaging with stakeholders, coaching other team members, and providing guidance and advice to management and leadership teams on immigration, compliance, and employment topics.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience

  • At least 3 years of program development and program management work experience

  • At least 1 year of H-1B immigration work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor Degree

  • AILA membership

  • Work experience in human resources or immigration

  • Work experience with immigration case management software

Expectations

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
