Job Summary

The Medical Office Specialistsupports all functions of the Cancer Center front office.

*Responsibilities: *

  • patient relations, appointment scheduling, telephone duties, patient registration, insurance verification, handling medical records, scanning documents, filing and other computer support.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two years college or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and computer skills required.
  • The ability to prioritize and manage multiple functions.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology required.
  • Three years medical/secretarial experience required.
  • Experience in medical terminology preferred.
  • Computer skills and organizational skills required.
