Aerotek Medical Assistant/LPN Opportunity **Fast Pace/High Pay** in Kansas City, Missouri
The Medical Assistant will work to assist the providers with patient appointments in a surgical physician's clinic. Responsibilities will include: taking patient vitals, entering medical history, cleaning and stocking exam rooms, and preparing patient charts for providers on clinic days. Medical assistants are also responsible for scanning all patient documents to charts, scheduling radiology testing, and obtaining all necessary records and films for providers to review at appointments.

Completed a medical assistant program or LPN licensed in MO
Minimum 3 months of experience working in a physician's clinic rooming patients and taking vitals
Strong knowledge of medical terminology
Patient first mentality

Must be incredibly reliable
Certified as a medical assistant is preferred
6 months of experience as a medical assistant in a physician's clinic
Prefer experience with EMR systems. This clinic uses eCW (eClinicalWorks) for their EMR
Ideally will have prior experience working in a surgery clinic to understand the importance and type of questioning necessary to obtain the appropriate medical history
