This position resides in the Third Party Administration department, but Thomas McGee Group provides full client solutions including employee benefits, surety, commercial insurance and Personal insurance along with our TPA services. This is an entry level position that provides an opportunity for growth and advancement.

You Will:

  • Enter claims into a claims handling system.

  • Print and sending checks to providers and claimants.

  • Handle Medical Only claims by entering payments, reviewing and sending bills to bill review and summarizing notes from medical appointments or client/claimant contact.

  • Answer phone calls and returning voicemails from providers or claimants in a timely manner.

  • Handle miscellaneous tasks such as but not limited to, linking documents to claims system and assisting Senior Adjusters with approval of medical appointments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college, no experience required.

  • The position is considered essential and does require time in the physical downtown location each week.

  • Experience working in Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

  • Strong mathematical or accounting skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills.
