National Dentex Dental-Lab Technician Trainee (Denture Wax) in Fenton, Missouri

Our team is growing, and we are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Keller in Fenton, MO for a Full-Time Dental-Lab Technician Trainee. Previous experience is not necessary; we offer paid, hands-on training!
The regular hours for this position are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
Read the prescription and all additional paperwork to establish the doctor’s preferences. If there are any questions or discrepancies, see the supervisor.
Evaluate model work if it meets Keller standards and Dr. instructions
Mark model for outline of product
Create a Base Plate over the edentulous areas of the stone model
Create a Wax Rim on base plate per Keller standards
Create an ECB on base plate per Keller standards
Create a Custom Tray per Keller standards
Wax dentures and partials to Keller standards
Keep work area clean
All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities Required:
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
Good hand-eye coordination, good manual dexterity, excellent perception skills and the strong ability to pay close attention to details.
Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve, using past experience and success to gauge best steps on future cases.
Verification in all applicable Technical Team Policies (TTPs) and the ability to apply knowledge from Technical Team Policies (TTPs) to the job.
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent
No experience required
Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:
Sharp instruments, knives and blades
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach
Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions
Good manual dexterity
Ability to walk, sit and stand for long periods of time
