Six Flags Health Screener in Eureka, Missouri


Job Summary: To ensure a safe experience for guests and team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administer screening assessment on all persons who require a screening to include asking a series of health questions as well as performing and evaluating non-invasive temperature checks.

  • Ensure effective communication with Safety, Security, and other park leadership on issues related to guests, visitors, contractors, vendors, lessees, and team member entrance to the facility with respect to screening and access to the park

  • Provide information with respect to site screening protocols and use of personal protection equipment (PPE)

  • Complete required documentation of health screenings conducted

  • Use professionalism, respect and consistency when communicating with all persons enter the park

  • Maintain confidentiality with regard to information collected during the health screening process

  • Comply with all Six Flags policies and procedures

  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and team members

  • Serve as an ambassador and greeter for the park; assist guests and team members whenever possible

  • Complete all assigned tasks and other duties as assigned by Safety/Medical Services department leadership

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to work in all weather conditions, including extreme cold and heat and high levels of humidity and rain, occasionally for extended periods of time

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Frequent walking, sitting, and reaching

  • Must have the ability to stand, walk, crouch, bend, stoop, balance, kneel and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally

  • Ability to work various shifts as project and park needs dictate, including nights, weekends and holidays

  • Ability to wear prescribed personal protective equipment (face covering, eye protection, gloves) for extended periods of time

  • Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to utilize two-way radio equipment

  • Flexible to changes

  • Must possess strong work ethic and the ability to multi task

  • Must be professional, self-motivated and have an enthusiastic attitude

  • Must have strong teamwork skills and ability to work with others

  • Reliable transportation

This position is anticipated to be needed through July, 2021. Other seasonal opportunities for employment will be available at the termination of this position.
