Full Time Clinical Care Specialist Lead 403 N. Stadium Blvd Columbia MO 65203
Ensures clinical competence of staff with NextCare policies and procedures and State and Federal regulatory compliance. Ensures that the back office functions are running smoothly and that patient flow is at the optimum.
• Performs all clinical care duties corresponding to the appropriate Skills Competency Checklists.• Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards.• Assures that the clinic meets regulatory and NextCare standards. Completes and reports the results of monitoring activities and audits.• Inventories and orders as necessary to assure that an adequate level of supplies and equipment are present in the facility.• Facilitates site clinical interviews with candidates to verify skill sets and culture match.• Trains new and existing back office employees on clinical procedures.• Assigns the activities of back office staff in day to day duties and special projects.• Completes competency checklists for back office staff.• Provides feedback to clinic manager on the performance of the urgent care staff.• Provides feedback to Director of Laboratory Services on the performance of back office staff’s competency and compliance with laboratory procedures and regulatory environment.• Completes laboratory training checklists, proficiency checklists, laboratory six month initial and annual reviews for CLIA and COLA compliance.• Assists in scheduling of staff.• Ensures compliance with CLIA and COLA standards.• Writes Laboratory Corrective Actions as necessary.• Attends education programs and staff meetings as required.• Performs patient care duties within scope of practice and NextCare policy as needed.• Treats patients and co-workers consistent with the NextCare Mission Statement, Vision, Values and Performance Standards.• Performs other related duties as assigned or described by Company policy.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• High School diploma or equivalent AND• Graduate from Medical Assistant school or comparable armed forces training OR• Graduate from an accredited radiology school and/or equivalent experience and Current State where required or National Radiology License OR• Advanced Medical Education/Certification, as approved by Human Resources
Certification:Current healthcare professional level CPR certification issued by American Heart Association, American Red Cross, American Safety Health Institute or National Safety Council.

Experience:Three recent years previous back office experience in a medical office, urgent care or emergency department. Supervision of medical staff
