Qualified candidate must be competent and enjoy admin duties as well as clinical duties and patient care, including but not limited to the following Responsibilities and Duties: * Greet patients and perform check-in and check-out procedures in an accurate and timely manner * Collect co-payments and outstanding balances at time of check-in * Maintain accurate money and cash transactions * Room patients, take vitals and capture clinical images * Schedule patient appointments * Perform medication and procedure authorizations * Keep accurate and up to date procedure and medication logs * Distribute notes and information to outside providers/entities when needed * Prepare for patient office visits * Process medical records requests * Displays patience and compassion in all patient interactions * Maintain appointment waitlist and schedule waitlist appointments whenever possible * Possess an intermediate skill level with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook * Scan and attach patient medical records and administrative documents in EMR * Utilize and maintain office communication through Outlook, calendars and task reminder * Review and process incoming faxes and mail * Make patient reminder calls for appointments and procedures * Cross coverage of other duties as needed and as assigned by Practice Manager * Act as support staff to physicians * Expected to function at a high level of efficiency without constant supervision and also work as part of a teamQUALIFICATIONS: Because you're committed to excellence, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Company . That's why you'll bring to your role the right set of qualifications: * High School Diploma required * At least two to five years of experience in a medical practice setting with knowledge of medical terminology is preferred * Experience as support staff to physicians * A working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with Electronic Medical Records systems.
