Provide weekend staffing for outpatient Infusion Services patients as outlined in Weekend Outpatient Infusion Process
Other specified duties as outlined in unit specific competencies
Management of electronic medical records
Personal accountability for involvement in education programs and community service programs by participating in at least 3 programs per year
Participates in community and professional organizations related to areas of expertise – RN’s & LPN’s (Office Nurse) minimum of three per year. All other staff are required to participate in two per year
Become
Graduation from a professional nursing program.
Registered professional nurse licensed by the state of Missouri and current CPR certification
OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) Certification is required, once the eligibility criteria for the initial certification is met (see website oncc.org for requirements). This certification must be obtained by the end of your second year of employment and must maintain active certification
Must successfully complete the Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Course within the first year of employment and must maintain active certification
Must be able to read, write and speak English
